Al Walls, USA:
Having
the opportunity to sponsor some of these wonderful children has been
a great blessing in my life. Over the last few months I have been
able to develop a strong bond with them and their families across
the miles.
Some of us who live in countries where material things are abundant
may fail to realize that not everyone in the world has access to essential
goods such as food, toothpaste, and notebooks for school. Being in
relationship with my children and their families in Ukraine constantly
invites me to recognize how blessed I am to have access to so much,
and how great a privilege it is to share who I am and what I have
with other people.
Writing
a check is the easy part. Being in close relationship with other human
beings despite of distance, language barriers, and citizenship, takes
commitment, respect, accountability, and above all, mutual love. With
deep gratitude to my children and their families for being part of my
life, and for letting me be part of theirs!

I
have been sponsoring Ilona and Oleksandr for about 15 months now and
it has brought so much joy to my life! I look forward to getting the
special letters and pictures from Ilona and Oleksandr. They mean so
much to me and I keep them framed in my office along with my son, husband
and other family members. I love them both!
I am so happy that you have this program and that people from other
countries can sponsor these children and others like them. It is amazing
what wonderful things $20 a month can buy for these children. They can
have good food and clothes along with other treats as well. I am very
happy to be a part of such a wonderful organization!!

The
experience of being a sponsor with Ukrainian Family came from the desire
to be connected with
a child and make that child feel love, respect and unconditional caring...
The organization UkrainianFamily is the best... Immediately, this organization
put me in contact with the children..It was clear that this experience
would not be something that was here today and gone tomorrow.... i was
bonded to the children...letters and photos...
The children through the interpreters wrote often and clearly... .There
were photos, prayers and gifts....from the organization and from the
families...
Your $25 monthly contribution will support
a child in need Ukrainian
Family is seeking individuals, families, and organizations to sponsor
orphans, children from single parent homes and multi-children families
who live in poverty and often suffer from health problems. A sponsorship
program helps by supplying basic necessities such as food distributed
quarterly and clothing and school supplies on an as needed basis.
But the most important thing in this program is that letters exchanged
between each child and the sponsor establish an invisible connection
that goes from heart to heart.
Your $25 a month for sponsorship is spent in 2 ways. $20 is used for the child's needs and $5 for our Emergency Children's Fund (urgent medical help). It also helps to pay for the administration's expenses for translation of letters, transportation, mail, office supplies, and special events for children.
Write a letter to your sponsored child in English and send to us at
ukrfamily@yahoo.com Your
letter will be translated and delivered to the child, and their response
will be translated and mailed to you!
Receive
a letter from your sponsored child with a translation each quarter
Receive pictures from your child once a year .
If you want to become a sponsor of one or more of our children, please
